Since the launch of XBox by Microsoft back in 2001, it has done a fabulous job of catching up with Sony’s Playstation, both in hardware as well as games. In this post, lets take a look at the criteria we should be asking ourselves when we can (or should) have only 1 console to rule the living room.
Exclusive Game Catalog
Are you a huge Halo or Street Fighter fan plays a huge part in your selection. Since neither party will allow their exclusive title from going over to the other side. For the list of exclusive title you can find it here.
Price & Bundles
Both XBox One and PS4 have tonnes of bundles between console set and games as well as controllers. Of course the bundling will factor in the exclusive titles that they own. Prices for Xbox One seems to be cheaper at this point in time although it’s not by a far margin.
Do you already owned a mountain of games of its previous version? As Microsoft’s XBox One allows for playing its previous version games while PS4 doesn’t do so cheaply and elegantly.
Hardware Design, Controller and Graphics
For graphics wise, frankly I doubt we will see alot of difference unless we really compare side by side. The stunning graphics of any game on a HD TV will still give you the same exhilarating feel with or without the “extra patch of grass”. When it comes to the hardware though, PS4 comes smaller and slicker, with a better held controller. Period.
Online and overall entertainment package
Xbox will prove to be the better of this due to its ability to feed cable TV signal and recording features to make it the all-in-one set for your living room.
